Today was the 2014 JTG Fall Invitational – Chapman Alternate Shot – Low Gross by Division. Played on a cold, cloudy, windy, and sometimes light rain kind of fall day with the leaves turning colors and blowing off the trees.
We had field of 106 players that included our players and their guests – fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Thank you all for coming!
Our Training theme this week was “fun” – something which provides amusement or enjoyment! We discussed the sense of joy our players feel when they accomplish a difficult task or an assignment at school or a well struck shot in golf. I told them I hope they strive to find this sense of joy and amusement in everything they do in life including golf!
We had a fun group today! I hope our players and everyone experienced some amusement and joy with their efforts. I know I did..thank you for a great day and a great season. I am grateful for the support received from so many great people!
